As jewellery designer Alice Rivers-Cripps says, "Everybody needs a bit of Posh Totty". And, while she continues to turn out jewellery this distinctive, we are inclined to agree.

Every piece of Posh Totty Designs jewellery is designed and handcrafted by Alice. Working from her shop in the heart of the North Laine area in Brighton, Alice creates contemporary, collectable and original jewellery in silver and 18ct gold. She also incorporates semi-precious stones, perspex and resin into her designs, creating highly wearable hand made jewellery that appears both timeless and now.

Alice learned traditional jewellery making skills while travelling across North and South America. She ended up in Mexico with only $60 in her pocket – not enough for her onward flight – so she found work with the local Mayan jewellers. They taught her how to craft silver jewellery by hand. Two years later, she had the money for the flight home and brought her new found skills back to England.

Alice chose to continue to use those skills and to develop her own bohemian style of jewellery. And, so Posh Totty Designs was born. A reflection of Alice's own original style brought to life with her hands and time-honoured jeweller's craft.

Since then, Alice's Posh Totty Designs jewellery has received critical acclaim and celebrity endorsement. Alice's jewellery has featured in the Guardian magazine and GQ and has been shown at The Tate Modern and London Fashion Week. While the better-known clientele includes Davina McCall, Cat Deeley and Dermot O'Leary.
