Father's Day is on Sunday 15th of June this year. So don't forget to send Daddy a card. A little gift would, no doubt, be well received too. As we don't sell gifts for men, it's easy for us to be objective about what to give.

You could always take Dad for a round of golf on Father's Day
Now, fathers are not the easiest people to buy gifts for. What do they really want or need after all? Hmm.... Here are some ideas for how to spoil daddy on Father's Day...
- Take him out for a pub lunch. I mean, that has to be a minimum really, doesn't it? If you can't afford to eat out, cook a Sunday roast at home instead.
-
Alternatively, how about a family picnic - weather permitting?!
-
Buy him something that he would never buy himself. A treat. That might be his favourite single malt or a box of Belgian chocolates.
-
Does he have any hobbies? Gardening? Football? Cooking? Pigeon fancying? Whatever it is, get him something related to that. Do your homework (ask Mum). Find out if there's something he's been hankering after, or moaning about!
-
Spend some quality time together. You probably don't do enough of that. Take him to a match. Go fishing. Treat him to a shared new experience. From off-road driving to sky diving, there's a massive selection of experience gifts these days. Something for everyone. Buy two tickets so you can share the fun.
-
Buy him a drink. Seriously, when was the last time you had a proper chat? Does he leave mum to do all the talking? Just take him down the pub on Sunday afternoon for a few hours (after the roast). Just the two of you.
-
Bake him a cake. Does he love chocolate cake? Show him how special he is by baking a lovely rich chocolate cake with his name on it.
-
Is he looking a bit shabby? Treat him to some exclusive grooming. There's a great place in Mayfair called The Refinery. They'll make him feel like a new man!
-
Go somewhere nice - and free! When did he last sea the sea? Go for a walk in the woods? Play football in the park? If you dad's always working, get him out and about for the day.
Whatever you plan to do - even if nothing - don't forget to send his card!
