.NET MAGAZINE’S READER'S SITE OF THE MONTH
pressies4princesses.co.uk has been awarded .net magazine's prestigious Reader's Site of the Month for June 2003
pressies4princesses.co.uk -- the gift site for men
seeking gifts for demanding women -- was awarded Reader's Site of the Month by
top UK Internet magazine ".net" in its June 2003 edition.
.net, published by Future Network Plc, is one of the
UK's most popular and authoritative Internet-related reads, with an ABC-audited
circulation of over 36,000 readers per quarter.
The magazine's reviewers described the site as "a
useful resource for anyone who's tasked with buying gifts for a girlfriend,
wife or mother." They questioned who could argue with site designer Steve
Sugden's logic for .net listing the site, "because it will help heaps of
men stay out of a whole heap of trouble and loads of girls to get what they
want."
Pressies4princesses.co.uk also enables women to make
Wish Lists of gifts that they would like to receive from friends and family.
Gifts can be added from pressies4princesses' own range and 250-plus additional items from more than 30 retailers featured
at the site. A Wish List can be constantly added to and works just like a
wedding list, so there's no danger of receiving the same thing twice -- unless
that's what you ask for!
Steve and the rest of the family team at
"pressies" -- as it is affectionately known -- were delighted to
receive news of the award. As Steve explained, "In addition to the
prestige of appearing in a national magazine title, the award also carries a
prize of £200 worth of Epson computer equipment. That's certainly not to be
sniffed at!"
