Chocolate is an obvious one - she either is or isn't and you should know!
Let's expand romance, culture and travel.
Romance
Few women can resist being romanced, but what does that mean?
Well, all it really means is making her the centre of attention for a while.
So you organise things that she will enjoy and do them together.
The romance stems from knowing you did this for her -
ie spent a little time thinking about her and what she would like.
The more you can show you know HER (specifically), the more overwhelmed she'll be.
To do romance right, forget the clichés and start thinking about HER!
The romance comes from knowing someone thought about you
Culture
You should be thinking in terms of the opera, ballet a West End show, or a classical music concert.
Preferably, something that involves getting all dressed up and that you wouldn't normally do on a Saturday night.
You could throw in the dress too or a day being pampered at the Sanctuary first!
Why not hire a chauffeur for the evening and arrive in style?
There are outdoor "classical" concerts during the summer evenings in most major cities every year -
you could arrange a car and luxurious picnic. Are you getting the idea?
Sprinkle your cultural expedition with little extra luxuries - like a chauffeur!
Travel
Is there somewhere she's always wanted to go? If so, this is going to be easy but very expensive. "Luxury travel" does not come cheap. More pragmatic partners will settle for economy travel in return for a better destination and hotel and more spending money when you arrive! Luxury travel means focussing on the details. For example, how are you getting the airport and from the airport to the hotel? How are you going to get around when you're there - on buses? Arrange a special welcome for your arrival (Champagne anyone?). Make sure you (both) take the right clothes to get into the best places.
Have a plan of what you are going to do while you are there -
if you want to eat somewhere exclusive you may have to book a table in advance of your departure!
Luxury travel means getting all the little details right
Travel
You have two options:
- Arrange the whole thing yourself
- Buy an off-the-shelf package and customise
If you're arranging yourself, you'll need to think about the following:
- Destination - what destinations would be most special to her?
- Travel and accommodation - You can arrange flights and accommodation at

It can be a bit intimidating, if you're going to try something new.
Don't worry, though, because you don't have to deal directly with the opera house!
